Payroll Officer
Reed is working with one of our clients, and we are supporting them with their search to hire a new Payroll Officer. They are an established Croydon based business, operating within the construction sector in the UK, and employing over 1000 people. You will be responsible for leading and managing the payroll function, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all payrolls. You will ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation, HMRC regulations, workplace pension requirements, and company policies, whilst driving continuous improvement across payroll systems, processes, and team performance. You will work closely with a number of divisions and external system providers to deliver an efficient payroll service that supports the organisation''s operational and strategic objectives. You will based out of their Central Croydon office and will have responsibility for leading and providing people management to 3 payroll officers. As the newly appointed Payroll Officer, your duties and responsibilities will include : Supervising and managing the end-to-end payroll function across all payroll entities within the organization by overseeing payroll imports, exports, pay elements, payroll departments, reports, and system maintenance. Ensure all payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies, statutory legislation, and payroll deadlines.
