Payroll Officer
As a Payroll Officer based in Manchester, you''ll take charge of processing payroll efficiently and accurately to ensure employees are paid on time. Your role will help the organisation run smoothly by managing payroll tasks and maintaining compliance with regulations. Client Details This role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The business are a rapidly expanding company growing year to year through acquisition and private funding. Description Process payroll on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain and update payroll records with employee information and salary details. Calculate and process statutory payments, including tax, National Insurance and pensions. Respond to payroll queries from employees and management. Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and legislation. Prepare payroll reports for management as needed. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Support audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation. Profile A successful Payroll Officer should have: Experience in managing and processing payroll within a professional setting. Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
