Responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely input of information into the payroll system, adhering to statutory and legislative compliance, and providing exceptional customer service to both Officers and Staff.Key Responsibilities:Efficiently manage the monthly payroll cycle for Staffordshire Police, ensuring pay-affecting transactions are processed accurately and timely.Address complex payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders, providing expert advice on PAYE, NI, SMP, SSP, and Pension.Conduct quality assurance checks and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate payroll processing.Assist in historical pay cases and maintain compliance with HMRC regulations.Support the Payroll and Pensions Manager with ad-hoc projects and data requests.Ideal Candidate Profile:To excel in this role, candidates should possess:Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience in a payroll ..... full job details .....
