This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing payroll independently and wants to work within a supportive, collaborative finance environment. The position is offered on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, with flexibility for candidates seeking either Full time or part time hours. What you''ll Be Doing you''ll take responsibility for the complete payroll process while supporting wider finance operations. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the end-to-end monthly UK PAYE payroll, including HMRC submissions, pensions and statutory payments. Administering Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) processes and submitting monthly returns. Coordinating weekly subcontractor payments and preparing BACS payment files. Processing employee expenses, company card transactions and petty cash. Preparing payroll journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations using Sage 50. Managing payroll year-end activities, including P60s and P11D reporting. Liaising with HMRC and resolving employee and subcontractor queries.
