Payroll ManagerSolihull, UK (Office-Based) Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break) £37,000 - £38,000 per annumAn established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join its Head Office team in Solihull.This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional to take ownership of payroll operations within a fast-paced environment, supporting a large workforce and driving continuous improvement across payroll processes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the end-to-end processing of two monthly payrolls for 1,500+ employeesManage payroll activities including starters, leavers, amendments, overtime, absences, statutory payments, and pensionsInvestigate and resolve payroll queries and discrepancies efficientlyProduce payroll reports, journals, and reconciliations to support finance processesAdminister company pension schemes, including NESTProcess payroll-related payments (monthly and ad hoc)Manage company cars, fuel cards, and P11D reportingComplete year-end payroll processes and statutory reportingMaintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integritySupport payroll and HR-related projects and process improvementsPrepare detailed reports covering earnings, deductions, and benefitsLead on gender pay gap reportingAbout YouProven experience in a payroll-focused role, ideally at Manager or Senior levelStrong working knowledge of Sage Payroll 50Up-to-date knowledge of HMRC legislation, payroll compliance, and UK regulationsExperience ..... full job details .....
