They are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join on a temporary basis, starting January 2026.You would be responsible for to leading and managing the payroll provision, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service for the organisation and its customers.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee monthly payroll, timesheets, overtime claims, and pay reviews.Ensure compliance with legal and organisational requirements (including IR35).Manage payroll close at month-end and year-end.Provide clear advice and guidance to customers and stakeholders.Build strong relationships across HR, finance, and other departments.Drive improvements in workflows, templates, and communication tools.Lead, train, and develop the payroll team, upholding organisational values.Qualifications / Experience:Experience in complex payroll environments, covering technical and legal requirementsCIPP qualification (or equivalent)Skilled in payroll development and implementationClear, confident communication (verbal and written).Strong problem-solving, detail focus, and time management.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Experience with integrated payroll/HR systems (ideally iTrent).Please be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
