Payroll Manager Location: Dartford Salary: 40,000 per annum Hours: Full-time or Part-time considered Working Pattern: Office-based The Opportunity I am recruiting for a Payroll Manager to take ownership of the payroll function for approximately 600 employees across a diverse workforce. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team in brand-new offices, with an excellent holiday allowance and the chance to play a key role in an exciting payroll transformation project. The business is currently transitioning from Sage Payroll to the integrated payroll function within UKG HR, which will automate a number of manual processes and help streamline payroll operations. This position can be offered on either: A part-time basis focused solely on payroll management, or A full-time basis combining payroll responsibilities with wider finance support duties alongside the Finance Manager. Key Responsibilities Manage and process the monthly payroll for approximately 600 employees. Ensure payroll is completed accurately and within required deadlines. Calculate pay across multiple departments, contracts, and pay structures. Administer variable payroll elements including bonuses, average earnings calculations, overtime, and other adjustments. Liaise with managers to ensure payroll data is accurate and up to date. Resolve payroll queries from employees and management.
