Sheridan Maine is seeking a Payroll specialist for a short term assignment in Birmingham. Responsibilities will include:

o All payroll processing activities for two monthly payrolls (total c. 300 people)
o Submissions to HMRC
o Payroll payment authorisation
o HM Customs and Revenue communications
o Pension administration, including auto-enrolment, life assurance etc.
o Understanding of statutory payments, Maternity, Paternity, Parental, sick pay etc.

Applicants should have/be:

o Expertise in Payroll procedures and processes
o Good knowledge of benefits and other salary deductions
o Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
o Discretion and integrity

The employer is close to public transport links and has parking available on site.

Hybrid working is available, one day each week can be worked remotely.
