Office based, with some flexibility. Payroll Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end payroll operation and act as the in-house expert for pension administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong technical payroll knowledge with a passion for process improvement, compliance and stakeholder support. Key Responsibilities Payroll Manage the full monthly payroll cycle across multiple employee groups. Process starters, leavers, contractual changes, overtime, allowances and statutory payments. Ensure accurate and timely HMRC submissions, PAYE, National Insurance and statutory deductions. Reconcile payroll reports and control accounts, resolving discrepancies where required. Produce payroll journals and support monthly financial reporting. Maintain robust payroll controls, ensuring audit readiness and GDPR compliance.
