This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll specialist to take ownership of a busy payroll function, with the added benefit of a flexible hybrid working arrangement and the potential to secure a permanent position. The Role As Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a comprehensive payroll service, ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time and in line with current legislation and organisational policies. Key responsibilities include: Managing an effective payroll service and delivering excellent levels of customer service. Dealing professionally and confidentially with a wide range of payroll queries from employees, managers and key stakeholders. Managing monthly payroll runs, ensuring robust checking processes are in place to maintain accuracy and minimise errors. Undertaking detailed payroll calculations and reconciliations. Completing statutory payroll returns and submissions to HMRC. Processing statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, SPP and other family-related leave payments. Administering salary sacrifice schemes, including childcare vouchers, cycle-to-work schemes and season ticket loans. Managing employee advances, including ..... full job details .....
