Payroll Manager

This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in ensuring our staff are paid accurately and on time, all while navigating the complexities of the entertainment industry.Key Responsibilities:Manage and process variable payrolls, including fluctuating hours, overtime, and different pay structures across a diverse workforce.Support with accounting dutiesEnsure full compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax codes, pensions, and other legal requirements.Oversee PAYE, National Insurance, and other statutory deductions, ensuring accurate submissions to HMRC.Work closely with department heads to gather and verify payroll dataProcess holiday pay, sick pay, and maternity/paternity leave with a focus on individual entitlements.Provide support in audits and respond to any payroll-related queries from staffAct as the point of contact for providersSkills and Experience:Process improvementAccounting experience, reconciliationsProven experience managing variable payrolls in an environment with fluctuating pay structures.Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including tax, pensions, and benefits.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving and communication.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives variable payroll environment and has a ..... full job details .....
