Payroll Manager£45,000 - £50,000Portfolio Payroll are proud to be partnering with an award-winning firm on the search for a Payroll Manager.Job OverviewYou will supervise a team of 2 as well as be responsible for processing payrolls on behalf of clients.Day to Day Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a number of clients employees (monthly/weekly)Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.)Submit RTI returns (FPS/EPS) to HMRC on timeOversee payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesEnsure accurate year-end processing (P60s, P11Ds PSA where applicable)Manage auto-enrolment processes:Assessments, enrolments, re-enrolmentsEnsure timely and accurate pension submissions to providers (e.g. NEST, TPP)Reconcile pension contributionsLead, coach, and develop payroll staffAllocate workload and ensure service delivery standardsAct as escalation point for complex payroll queriesEssential Skills and Competencies:Experience processing payrolls on behalf of clientsExperience with supervising staff High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targetsStrong communication, leadership and management skillsStrong stakeholder management experienceDesirable Skills and Competencies:Experience working within a an accountancy practice or payroll bureauExperience using multiple payroll platformsA fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislation51749MTINDPAYSThe Portfolio Group are ..... full job details .....
