As an Interim Payroll Manager in Hyde, you''ll oversee the smooth running of payroll operations within the manufacturing sector. Your work will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, supporting the organisation''s financial operations. Client Details This is an exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturing firm based in Hyde, Greater Manchester who are currently going through a period of change and transformation. Description The Interim Payroll Manager role is an immediate start temp role for 3 months initially and will be 1-2 days per week in the Hyde office or can be fully remote. The role will be stand alone reporting to the Financial Controller- Key duties will include: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Handle payroll queries and provide timely resolutions for employees. Prepare and submit payroll reports to relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance with tax and pension contributions. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate employee records. Oversee payroll audits and implement improvements where needed. Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and ensure adherence. Train and support junior payroll staff as required.
