You ll be the business s dedicated payroll expert, reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with HR across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end monthly payroll for c.300 employees. Process varied pay including commission, bonuses, overtime, shift premiums, pensions, benefits and statutory payments. Manage RTI submissions, PAYE/NIC, P11Ds, P60s and auto-enrolment. Complete payroll reconciliations, journals and management reporting. Improve and automate payroll processes, moving from manual input towards data uploads and integrations. Develop controls, validation checks, payroll calendars and documented procedures. Optimise the newly implemented Sage People and Sage People Payroll systems. Partner closely with HR on starters, leavers, pay changes and other employee changes.
