You''lltake ownership of the wider payroll function, lead an establishedteam and become a key point of contact for a varied portfolio ofclients.It''s an opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side ofpayroll but also wants to have a genuine influence on how apayroll service operates, develops and is delivered to clients.What you''ll be doing Lead and develop the payroll team, setting high standards andsupporting ongoing professional development. Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of weekly, fortnightlyand monthly payrolls. Ensure payrolls are delivered accurately, compliantly and todeadline. Oversee CIS payroll and compliance, including submissions andclient reporting. Manage auto-enrolment pensions, from assessments through toprovider liaison and regulatory reporting. Become a trusted payroll adviser to clients, providing guidanceon legislation, payroll policies and workforce costs. Take ownership of more complex payroll matters includingstatutory payments, bonuses, incentives and terminations. Build strong relationships with clients, HMRC, pensionproviders and other key stakeholders.
