Payroll Manager

Are you an experienced Payroll Manager who has worked in a payroll department serving a multi-site company where you are familiar with managing deadlines and working on multiple pay rolls at the same time? If so, join Elysium Healthcare as a Payroll Manager. As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with relevant UK legislation and company policies. You will oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of statutory payments and filings to authorities like HMRC and other third parties. Alongside managing and developing the payroll team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity, employee trust, and compliance, while supporting the Head of Payroll drive continuous improvement and system efficiencies across the payroll function. This is a hybrid role working 3 days at our Head Office in Borehamwood. As a Payroll Manager, you will be: Taking responsibility for all payroll services ensuring processes are adhered to with weekly and monthly deadlines being achieved. Leading on monthly payroll audit reporting and ensure robust internal controls and compliance are maintained. Overseeing calculations for salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, pensions and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP etc.).
