Payroll Manager
One of the North s leading firms of chartered accountants and business advisors employing c.1,000 staff across several offices, is looking to recruit a Payroll Manager/Supervisor to its Newcastle office to deliver high quality and timely payroll services to a portfolio of clients ranging in size and complexity. You will be part of a team managing a portfolio of new and existing clients, with responsibility for the delivery and implementation of payroll services to a high standard, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Your key responsibilities as Payroll Manager/Supervisor will include: End-to-end payroll process delivery for a portfolio of clients, ensuring that the payrolls are processed and submitted each pay period in a timely and accurate manner Advising on any technical payroll matters arising, such as termination payments, payrolling of benefits and statutory payments Dealing with client and team queries in relation to payroll operations, including handling escalations Managing team workloads and allocations, providing counselling including annual and in-year reviews Preparing client fee and budget details Approving BACS files for the payment of employees Auto-Enrolment compliance Set up and attending client meetings when required Developing additional services for payroll clients Ensuring the smooth transition/implementation of new payroll clients - effective procedures for the setup of internal and external systems, tools and processes HMRC audit ..... full job details .....
