This is a stand-a-lone role managing a busy payroll function for a varied client base, offering autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact. THE OPPORTUNITY The firm processes payroll for over 160 clients and 730+ employees each month. You will take full ownership of the payroll function, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payrolls while providing an excellent service to clients. The team is friendly, collaborative, and supportive, with a culture that values proactive advice and continuous learning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManaging the full payroll life-cycle for all clients, including weekly, monthly, and four-weekly payrollsActing as key contact for client payroll enquiries and HMRC/pension organisation queriesSetting up new payroll clients, PAYE schemes, and pensionsProcessing new starters, leavers, and CIS submissionsProducing and distributing payroll reports to clientsMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and best practiceImproving systems to ensure payroll processes run efficientlyReporting to the Practice Manager an...</description>
