They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Manager and Bookkeeper to join their growing team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and client-focused professional to take on a permanent position in a supportive, flexible working environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing payroll and bookkeeping services for a wide variety of clients, with direct client communication and responsibility for compliance and reporting.Key Responsibilities• Manage client payrolls and CIS returns• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and prime entry records• Prepare and submit VAT returns• Communicate directly with clients on all payroll and bookkeeping matters• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with HMRC deadlinesRequired Experience• Proven experience within an accountancy practice• Solid understanding of payroll, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently across multiple client filesDesirable Software Knowledge• Xero• Dext• Capium• BrightPay• Sage PayrollWorking Hours and Benefits• 28-34.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (Full-time hours is 34.5 hours as business operates a 4 day working week)• Flexible ..... full job details .....
