Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large organisation in the Stockport area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Lead to join their team. Key Duties/Tasks:Technical skills including relevant payroll system experience and excel skillsYou will get an opportunity to be exposed to leadership responsibilitiesBeing the go-to payroll expert in the payroll teamWorking on private payrolls with the management teamSupport the busy payroll department high volume starters and leaversExperience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns would be beneficialMust have very strong Excel (VLookUps/Pivot Tables)High volume and fast pacedProvide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queriesEnsuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Reconciliations.Manual calculationsExperience of T and A system usefulPayrite payroll system experience ideally Desirable skills and attributes:5 years of payroll experience minimumPrevious payroll experience in a fast paced and high-volume environmentA keen eye for detailEnjoy working within a teamMotivated to progress to management and support management teamsSupervisory experience advantageousExcellent communicator as you will be answering queriesConfident with ExcelCIPP advantageous not essential Benefits Free parking on-site Generous holiday allocation Buy and sell annual leave option ..... full job details .....
