Payroll Lead

Location: London / Remote working Rate: £24-27 per hour inclusive of holiday pay Contract: Temporary Assignment 2 - 3 months Start Date: ASAP Are you an experienced Payroll Manager available immediately and looking for your next challenge?We are seeking a highly capable Payroll Manager to join an organisation on a temporary basis to take full ownership of the payroll function. This is a standalone role, ideal for someone who is confident managing end-to-end payroll independently and ensuring an accurate and timely payroll service. Key Responsibilities: Manage the complete end-to-end payroll process for all employees. Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in line with statutory requirements. Calculate and process salaries, overtime, deductions, statutory payments and pensions. Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers. Maintain payroll records and ensure employee data is accurate and up to date. Administer pension contributions and liaise with pension providers. Submit RTI reports and ensure compliance with HMRC legislation. Reconcile payroll reports and support month-end processes. Manage year-end payroll activities including P60s and statutory returns. Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and process improvements. About You: Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or Senior Payroll Professional in a sole capacity.
