Payroll Implemetation Specialist

About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, confident payroll professional to join a well-established business and make a significant contribution to its future success. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be supporting the migration of a number of branch-based monthly payrolls from Access Select Pay to Sage 50 Payroll. This is a full-time, hybrid role with the occasional requirement to perform on-site visits to selected branches. This role is being offered under a fixed-term contract. Key responsibilities Day-to-day planning, coordination and delivery of payroll migration projects for specific franchisee branches. Cleansing, reconciliation and validation of payroll datasets prior to migration. Preparation of new payroll systems to a level ready for migration, including full configuration of pay elements and associated data. Providing training and support to branch employees throughout the migration process, including the creation of relevant procedural documentation. Responding promptly and professionally to resolve queries and ensure that deadlines are met. Reviewing existing branch-based payroll processes and making recommendations to improve accuracy and efficiency - on accasion requires travelling to branches across the UK. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation and best practice.
