Payroll Implementation Consultant Salary: £45,000 £60,000 Location: London Working Pattern: Hybrid Key Responsibilities Deliver payroll consulting projects, including end-to-end payroll reviews, process improvements and recommendations Support payroll transformation and technology implementation projects Provide payroll compliance and controls support across UK and international environments Assist with RFPs, vendor selection, pre-sales and bid development Work closely with clients and internal project teams to deliver high-quality solutions Support stakeholder engagement, workshops and client presentations Contribute to payroll best practice, thought leadership and process improvement Ideal Candidate Strong end-to-end UK payroll experience, ideally with exposure to the full annual payroll cycle Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation including PAYE, NI, pensions, statutory payments, IR35 and GDPR Confident using Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, SUMIF and COUNTIF Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills Comfortable working with payroll technology such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or Dayforce Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ideally, experience with payroll implementation, transformation, consulting or payroll vendors International payroll experience would be advantageous A great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking to move into a consulting, technology and transformation-focused role. ..... full job details .....
