Payroll Executive / Payroll Senior - Leeds (LS1)

Full Time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 DOE

As a Payroll Executive or Payroll Senior, you''ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, managing the full end-to-end payroll process and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery. You''ll play a key role in a supportive team where development and progression are genuinely encouraged.
What you''ll be doing:

• Processing multiple client payrolls on different pay frequencies as a Payroll Executive or Payroll Senior
• Handling starters, leavers, statutory payments, P45s, P46s and P60s
• Submitting RTI reports to HMRC and generating BACS payments
• Managing auto-enrolment pensions, liaising with providers, and supporting compliance
• Assisting with CIS submissions and setting up new payroll clients
• Dealing with payroll queries from clients and employees
• As a Payroll Senior, you may also support and mentor junior team members

About you:

• Previous payroll experience (payroll bureau background desirable)
• Comfortable running multiple payrolls to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of payroll systems (Sage 50 experience advantageous)
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation & auto enrolment
• CIPP qualification (a plus, but not essential)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
