Position PurposeThe Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of end-to-end payroll for a high-volume UK workforce. This role focuses on maintaining payroll integrity, statutory compliance, and high-quality reporting while overseeing payroll controls, resolving complex queries, and supporting continuous system improvements. Key Responsibilities and Duties End-to-End Payroll DeliveryExecute accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processingManage the full employee payroll lifecycle, including starters, leavers, and contractual variations.Calculate and process all statutory payments (including SSP, SMP, SPP) and holiday pay in strict accordance with UK legislation.Process BACS payments and maintain robust payroll controls, validation procedures, and audit checks. Data Integration and Systems ManagementDownload, validate, and reconcile data from the automated time and attendance (TandA) system against final payroll outputs.Administer and maintain employee records within core enterprise HR and payroll databases.Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, system errors, and escalated employee queries.
