Payroll Coordinator
As Payroll Co-ordinator, you will work closely with the HR Shared Services Team Leader to deliver accurate, timely end-to-end monthly payroll processing. You will ensure all payroll calculations and deductions are correctly processed within strict deadlines, and act as the first point of contact for more complex payroll queries, including tax and pension matters.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe role will be varied and will include, but is not limited to:Collaborate with the HR Shared Services Team Leader to ensure monthly payrolls are processed accurately and on schedule.Calculate starter and leaver adjustments, including deductions and backpay payments.Process statutory payments in line with legislation.Prepare and issue SSP1 and SMP1 forms for ineligible employees in a timely manner.Extract timesheet data from the HR system into payroll and complete reconciliations to prevent under/overpayments.Produce and interpret standard HR and payroll reports.Administer pension activities including opt-ins, opt-outs, refunds, and uploading contributions to provider portals.Prepare interim reports for Finance to support review prior to final payroll processing.Reconcile final payroll reports and assist with submission of FPS and EPS to HMRC.Benefits 22 Holiday Days plus Bank HolidaysSalary: Up to £33,000Employee discounts Life InsuranceParking on siteAccess to a virtual GP We are happy to provide application and/or accessibility support, please contact your Marks Sattin or Grafton ..... full job details .....
