Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Location: Garforth
Salary: -30,000 - -35,000 DOE
Service Care are delighted to be working with a forward thinking Accountancy Practice, who are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, mainly working with payrolls from 1-30 members of staff.
Working for a Practice who actually believe in a work life balance, offering flexible start/finish times and a 4 day working week (also open to candidates looking for part time work)
What you will be doing
- Payroll processing for weekly, 4 weekly and Monthly Payrolls
- Calculation of wages, bonuses, overtime and statutory payment deductions
- Ensure compliance with tax and employment legislation
- Prepare and submit payroll reports-
- Maintain up to date employee payroll records and ensure data is inputted correctly
- Handle payroll amendments, starters, leaver and year end processes.
- Act as a main point of contact for your portfolio, handling quires and offering payroll advice.
- Reconciliation of payroll reports
- Processing CIS returns for contractors
- Other ad-hoc duties as required-
What you will have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience within Payroll
- Experience with running multiple payrolls
- Strong organisational skills
- High attention to detail

- Base salary of -30,000 - -35,000 (FTE if part time)
