Payroll Associate Location: Taunton (Hybrid working available) Salary: 28,000 - 32,000An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a friendly and supportive accountancy practice based in Taunton. This is a permanent position offering hybrid working once fully trained, with 3 days per week in the office.Working as part of a close-knit team of two and reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality payroll service across a varied client portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing a portfolio of client payrolls from start to finishManaging payrolls of varying sizes, from small businesses to larger organisations with several hundred employeesHandling both weekly and monthly payroll schedulesEnsuring payrolls are accurate and compliant with current legislationProcessing starters, leavers, and statutory paymentsDealing with client queries and providing excellent customer serviceWorking collaboratively within the payroll team and supporting the Payroll Manager where requiredUsing Sage payroll software on a daily basisAbout YouPrevious payroll experience, ideally within a practice or bureau environmentExperience managing multiple payrolls and deadlinesConfident using Sage payroll softwareStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a small teamExcellent communication and client-facing skillsBenefitsFlexible and hybrid working options25 days holiday plus ..... full job details .....
