Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll and Accounts Administrator to work within their busy finance and payroll department.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the department and will assist in undertaking a wide variety of roles and responsibilities across a group of companiesDuties include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly payroll, including RTI filing and pension uploads.Dealing with payroll and sales invoice-related queriesUpdating records on an in-house CRM systemLiaising with HMRC and always adhering to compliancePreparing sales invoicesEntering supplier invoicesCredit card reconciliationsReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies as they arise.Assist the procurement team with preparing quotations, sourcing goods, and placing orders with suppliersProvide other ad-hoc administrative support to the company as required. Requirements Previous experience in a payroll and finance position is preferred.Knowledge and understanding of Sage 50 preferred, but not essential, as training will be providedFully conversant with Microsoft Word and ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
