Payroll Assistant

Position: Payroll AssistantLocation: Norfolk (Hybrid/Office Based)Salary: £26k - £27kHours: Full-timeWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Payroll Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll and associated finance tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities Process payroll data ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll legislation.Calculate gross pay, statutory deductions, pension contributions, holiday pay, and other entitlements.Prepare and submit returns to HMRCDistribute payslips and payroll-related correspondenceMaintain accurate payroll files and records.Respond promptly to payroll queries via email and phoneProcess supplier invoices, staff expenses, credit card statementsAllocate incoming funds and complete bank reconciliations to deadlines.
