With continued growth and success, they are now looking to add a proactive and detail-focused Payroll Assistant to their Leicester-based team. This role offers the chance to grow within a dynamic business that values its people and provides real opportunities for development. Role and Responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant: Assisting to process a fortnightly and a monthly payroll, issuing payment via online banking and payslips to employees. Accurately maintain the payroll database, including the processing of new starters, employee contractual changes and leavers. Liaise with HR Manager to ensure all payroll liabilities are met, including tax and NI, AOEs and salary deductions. Record any additional payroll data, such as deductions, bonuses, overtime and submit data to HR Manager for processing. Monitor fuels costs and to advise employees or any changes in statutory fuel payments. Compile a summary from the monthly payroll reports for submission to accounts.
