Division of a Business Services Group based in Ryde, Isle of Wight, has an opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will sit within the finance team and will be joining the company during an exciting period of change and development. What will the Payroll Assistant opportunity involve? Manage and update payroll information in Sage Payroll 50, including monthly adjustments, overtime, new hires, shift premiums, and creation of new roles, ensuring accurate processing and payment runsCoordinate with managers to gather payroll changes, apply statutory updates, handle pension administration with brokers, address staff payroll queries promptly, and produce related reports and budget variance analysesMaintain and organise HR databases and personnel files, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and regular audits, as well as digitising paper records for efficient storageProvide administrative HR support, including drafting correspondence, preparing documentation for payroll and HR matters, and note-taking during formal employee relations meetingsGenerate, maintain, and distribute HR reports and monthly HR metrics to support workforce planning and operational needs Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Assistant vacancy: Previous experience of processing payroll Sage experience would be beneficial but not essentialHappy to commute to Ryde Additional benefits and information for the role of Payroll Assistant: The role will be offered on a hybrid ..... full job details .....
