Payroll and Pensions Officer
Part Time Permanent Position2-3 days a week City of LondonHybrid working 38-42k FTE Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll and Pensions Officer to join their busy teamDuties include;Provide input to the external payroll bureau and review outputs to ensure accuracy and completenessValidate payroll calculations, including pay, deductions, and statutory requirementsMonitor and reconcile bureau outputs, identifying and resolving discrepanciesEnsure timely and accurate payroll processing in line with organisational deadlinesEnsure compliance with all relevant payroll and pension legislationOversee payments to third parties (e.g. HMRC, pension providers, and other statutory bodies)Manage and respond to requests for information in line with legal and regulatory requirementsMaintain accurate records and audit trailsSupport pension processes including contributions, enrolment, and reportingLiaise with pension providers to ensure accurate and compliant administrationMonitor pension data integrity and resolve issuesAct as the key point of contact within the organisation for payroll and pensions queriesBuild strong relationships with internal teams and external providersProvide clear and timely communication on payroll mattersSupport the implementation of a new payroll bureau and systemContribute to system testing, data validation, and process designAssist with transition planning and knowledge transferYou will able to;Demonstrable experience in public sector payrollStrong ..... full job details .....
