Payroll and HR Specialist Belfast £32,000 - £36,000 + Bonus Permanent, Full-Time, Office Based Apple Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Northern Ireland employer with over 2,500 employees for a Payroll and HR Specialist. This newly created role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who can take ownership of payroll operations while supporting a range of HR activities. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will ensure payroll is processed accurately, compliantly and on time while assisting with recruitment, onboarding and employee administration. Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end monthly payroll across multiple entities. Administer PAYE, NI, pensions, statutory payments and payroll deductions. Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies. Support year-end payroll reporting and compliance. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle administration. Assist with absence management and HR queries. Maintain accurate payroll and employee records. Ensure compliance with payroll, employment and data protection legislation. Essential Criteria Payroll qualification or equivalent payroll experience. Minimum 5 years'' experience processing end-to-end payroll. Experience with payroll software such as PayCircle, Sage or similar. Experience administering pensions and auto-enrolment. Strong knowledge of PAYE, NI, statutory payments and payroll legislation.
