Payroll and Finance Officer

We are currently supporting our Cheshire based client to recruit an experienced Payroll and Finance professional into their payroll team to support and develop the existing payroll service to their clients within the public sector, a real team player who will support and take responsibility for a portfolio of clients. This role will involve completing the full end to end payroll process and all year end activities, accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities End to end payroll - Monthly Ability to perform finance functions alongside Payroll Manipulation of data within Excel Year end processes including the preparation of P11D''s and HMRC submissions Assist with finance functions - Purchase ledger, invoicing Providing a first class customer service to clients Processing of LGPS pensions and TPS Requirements Experienced end to end payroller Excellent communicator Payroll experience, including all year end activities Experience of working with local authority would be an advantage Full time Opportunity to transition a payroll Benefits Fully remote - once a month in the office in Cheshire 26 days holiday plus banks - up to 31 over time Annual pay award every year 16% pension Some flexitime 37 hours per week Study support Blue light card for discounts Eye test Electric car 52220JT INDPAYN The Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position. ..... full job details .....
