A growing and well-established company in the Great Dunmow area is seeking a Payroll and Finance Administrator to support their busy finance department. This role starts on a temporary basis and will go permanent after successful probation period, offering an immediate start and competitive hourly pay.
Key Responsibilities for this Payroll and Finance Administrator:
- Process payroll for approximately 130 employees
- Assist with pension enrolments, statutory payments, and HMRC submissions
- Maintain accurate employee records, including starters and leavers
- Handle purchase and sales invoices, staff expenses, and payment runs
- Reconcile bank transactions and support the maintenance of control accounts
Skills and Experience required:
- Proven experience in payroll and general finance administration
- Solid understanding of Sage 50 Accounts (experience with Sage Payroll is an advantage)
- Good Excel skills and confident with bookkeeping tasks
- High attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills
