What will the Payroll Officer role involve?

• Managing the accurate processing of staff salaries, expenses, and third-party payments to ensure timely releases
• Administering pension schemes and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations
• Providing a professional and customer-focused payroll support service to staff and external agencies
• Liaising effectively with internal departments and external bodies to ensure smooth payroll operations
• Assisting the Payroll Manager in maintaining payroll procedures and supporting continuous process improvement

Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Officer vacancy:

• Solid experience in payroll administration, ideally within a complex environment
• Knowledge of pension schemes, statutory payroll compliance, and expense processing
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
• Effective communication skills with a professional manner to build rapport across teams
• Proactive mindset and a willingness to learn new systems and procedures
