Payroll and Accounts Assistant

Payroll and Accounts Assistant Magherafelt (BT45) Salary c.£27K - £30K DOE On behalf of our client, McKinty Associates are seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll and Accounts Assistant. Working as part of our clients established accounts team the post holder be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll, managing the purchase ledger, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. This role is vital in ensuring smooth financial operations, including payroll, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations. Duties/Responsibilities: Payroll Processing Purchase Ledger Bank Reconciliations Cash Management General Finance Support Eligibility criteria: Previous experience working in a fast-paced Finance Department Proven experience in payroll processing and purchase ledger duties Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages (Sage 50 or similar) Accounting Technician qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experience in a similar role (Desirable) Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload An ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management skills Applications for this role will be considered immediately with a view to placing the right individual ASAP, so please register your interest early.
