Supercharge your career with us and be part of something extraordinary.Why we need youWe’re on a mission to create extraordinary experiences for our customers, and we believe that your unique skills, passion and superdrive will help us achieve our vision.As a Payroll Analyst you’ll be supporting the delivery of and managing the financial aspects of employee compensation, maintaining accurate records for remuneration, benefits, taxes and financial reporting of cost to company, as well as ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing support to employees regarding payroll matters. This will help us excel at paying our employees timeously and accurately enabling us to stay ahead of the game.What you’ll be doingAs part of your role, your responsibilities will include:Implementing and maintaining accurate brand, region and product calculations and allocation of cost to company, to ensure accurate billing to clients. Review payroll related accruals prior to posting in Business Central. Ensure Intercompany recharges are prepared and posted correctly.ReconcilliationsReconcile all payroll accounts, ensuring all payroll transactions are accurately recorded and posted on the General Ledger. Reconcile RSU accounts, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and required taxes remitted to relevant tax authorities. Prepare headcount reconciliation for month-end posting ensuring accurate allocation of headcount to various Brand, Region, Product ,Cost Centre.Generate payroll-related financial reports, analyzing payroll data and providing insights into cost of employment expenses per client. Prepare Shared Services Schedules for Costing Splits as per Finance requirements. Identify trends and patterns in payroll data to proactively identify areas for process improvement, cost savings, or compliance enhancements.AuditTake ownership of all internal and external audit requests (including SOX), ensuring deadlines are metStakeholder EngagementCollaborate with the finance accounting team on the integration of payroll data into ERP. Engage with the reporting team on GL Account requirements for Cost of Employment. Work closely with the Finance Director and Snr Finance Managers to ensure accurate billing. Collaborate with HRIS on Workday Costing dimensions and the Work Time allocation process.Regulatory and Tax ComplianceStay updated with payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements to ensure data accuracy and adherence to legal standards. Assist Senior Payroll manager with preparation of data for P11D and PSA annual submissionsSystem MaintenanceData maintenance and integration of Workday (HR) and ADP systems to ensure accurate cost allocation is posted to ERP. Automation and process improvement on payroll systems and accounting systems relating to payroll journals. Support payroll system implementations, upgrades and enhancements by providing data analysis and testing expertiseThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. You may be required to complete other reasonable duties in order to achieve business objectives.Essential skills you’ll bring to the tableThe necessary skills that we require for this role include:Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectivelyExperience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goalsExpertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scopeExceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputsAbility to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency with payroll software (e.g. ADP, Payspace, Workday)Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirementsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationStrong Costing Allocation BackgroundProficiency in MS ExcelProficiency in financial reporting and data analysisMinimum 3 – 5 years payroll experience in a similar roleDesirable skills you’ve got up your sleeveIt would be great if you also have some the following skills:Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business CentralCPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or other relevant certificationsStrong knowledge of ERP/Accounting systemsOur values are non-negotiablesOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
