An intriguing and distinctive opportunity within a forward-thinking practice!This unique firm of accountants based in Bromsgrove seek a Payroll Administrator on a part time basis (min. 3 days per week). If desired, the opportunity to also get involved with bookkeeping is there on a full-time working basis.The firm is niche in that their portfolio of clients includes high-profile and well-known professionals in the entertainment, media and sports industries.Sitting within the Accounts team, as Payroll Advisor, you will ensure client payrolls and calculations are processed in a timely manner, liaising with clients and investigating and resolving any queries as required.This is a brilliant opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys variety in their work.Responsibilities: Process payrolls for a portfolio of clients, accurately and within deadlinesOnboard new clients and set up pension schemes, submitting pension schedulesPAYE registrations and auto-enrolment of new employees and leaversLiaising and gather data from clients as well as handling HMRC requests. Requirements: Previous payroll experience gained within in accountancy practice or from within a bureau setting is idealPayrollers from within industry will also be consideredPrevious practical knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage or BrightPayThe capability to use your initiative, self-manage, multi-task, organise workload, work quickly and accurately to meet regular deadlinesAny bookkeeping and/or VAT ..... full job details .....
