      <description>Location: Southampton | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | I''m working with a major organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Professional to support a significant project involving the delivery of backdated payments to approximately 3,000 individuals. Key responsibilities:  Coordinate the production and distribution of letters and emails explaining payment calculations and entitlements. Develop clear documentation, FAQs and supporting materials to help individuals understand their payments. Manage and respond to payment-related queries, providing guidance on pensions, statutory payments, holiday pay and National Minimum Wage. Support wider activities associated with the project. Work closely with project leadership to ensure accurate, consistent and timely communication.  About you:  Strong payroll knowledge, with a good understanding of UK payroll legislation and processes. Experience handling complex payroll queries and explaining calculations to non-specialists. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of queries.
