Job SummaryPortfolio Payroll are currently working with a brilliant firm who conduct the payroll for small and large companies in the Carlisle area. They are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their team due to expansion. Working for an established firm the work is varied, interesting and challenging. Key Objectives: Working within a medium sized team you will be responsible for full end to end payroll for various clientsExcellent Service deliveryEnd to End PayrollMaintain working knowledge and understanding of current statutory regulations Key Duties/Taks:This role will be varied over numerous clients with the main focus on client relationships and customer careMonth end and year-end returns and balancingPerform manual calculations as and when requiredKnowledge of statutory and legislative regulationsAbility to communicate at all levelsUnderstand the payroll deadlines and requirementsClear and concise communication, both written and verbalAbility to work on own and within part of a teamKnowledge of UK Tax legislation Desirable skills and attributes:You will have had previous payroll experience ideally with multiple client or BureauA keen eye for detailEnjoy working within a teamPersonable and keen candidate with a positive outlookAbility to supervise in managers absenceExcellent communicator as you will be answering queriesMust have strong ExcelUse Star - not essential 51575JTINDPAYNThe Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position. ..... full job details .....
