This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking for a varied role within a supportive finance team where accuracy, attention to detail and excellent customer service are highly valued. As Payroll Administrator, you''ll take ownership of a high-volume weekly payroll process whilst also supporting wider finance activities. This role would suit somebody who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on meeting deadlines and takes pride in delivering an accurate and efficient payroll service. Key Responsibilities Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for a large employee populationManage payroll administration, including starters, leavers and contractual amendmentsAct as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managersInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, escalating where appropriateAdminister statutory payments including SSP, SMP and other employee-related paymentsSupport pension administration and payroll compliance requirementsCarry out payroll checks, reconciliations and reporting activitiesMaintain accurate payroll records in line with GDPR and company policiesProduce payroll reports and support audit requirementsWork closely with finance colleagues to assist with reporting and month-end activitiesSupport banking, reconciliations and other ..... full job details .....
