Portfolio Payroll are working with a well-established business based in Newcastle who is looking for a hands-on Payroll Administrator to join the rapidly growing finance team.

As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for seven entities, ensuring timely and accurate payments to all employees.
  • Ensure the requested transactions are processed in pension scheme
  • Complete payroll accounting entries and prepare the payroll journals
  • Responsible for ensuring that all employees are paid without issues thereby maintaining a good relationship with employees
  • Deliver agreed SLA''s.
  • Prepare check and load the interface files

Experience and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Payroll and Pension
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of current GDPR
  • Team player
