Crossroads Truck and Bus Payroll Administrator Birstall Depot We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Administrator to join our team at Birstall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing monthly payroll accurately and timely whilst ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Previous payroll experience and familiarity with payroll software (ideally IRIS software) is essential given the nature of the position. Training and support will be given. Overview of the Role Producing weekly time sheets for multiple sites. Processing the monthly payroll for 250 employees. Calculating and processing hourly and salary payrolls, deductions, and benefits in a timely and precise manner. Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements to ensure accurate reporting. Managing bonus payments, salary reviews, and responding to ad-hoc requests. Liaise with all operational managers regarding payroll and any changes to pay arrangements during the month. Respond to staff if they have any queries relating to their pay, deductions or benefits and any queries relating to HMRC and the pension arrangements. Prepare and submit statutory reports to regulatory authorities such HMRC and pension providers. Safeguard sensitive payroll information and always maintain confidentiality. Implement and enforce data protection measures to protect employee privacy. Requirements Experience in processing payroll (PAYE) end-to-end and knowledge of using payroll systems.
