Payment Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team within a large-scale business that delivers essential projects and services across multiple sectors.The organisation is committed to creating a positive, collaborative working environment where employees are supported in their professional development and encouraged to contribute new ideas and continuous improvements.Your new role Reporting to the Payments Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient processing of supplier and contractor payments while maintaining strong financial controls and high levels of accuracy.Key responsibilities will include:Processing high-volume supplier and contractor payments, including multi-currency transactions.Managing payment runs and ensuring invoices are paid within agreed credit terms.Reconciling supplier accounts and creditor statements.Preparing and distributing remittance advices.Processing BACS and cheque payments and posting transactions to the purchase ledger.Updating bank records, cashbooks and financial ledgers.Investigating and resolving supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.Liaising with internal departments to ensure accurate financial records and smooth payment processes.Setting up and verifying new supplier accounts in line with ..... full job details .....
