About the Role:
As a Patient Bookings Coordinator, you''ll be at the forefront of patient interactions, helping to manage appointments and ensure each patient receives the care they deserve. Your responsibilities will include:
- Checking Referrals: Assessing patient referrals for suitability and ensuring they are seen promptly in our clinical units.
- Booking Appointments: Coordinating appointments efficiently and providing patients with all necessary information and medications.
- Managing Correspondence: Keeping patient contact records up to date and maintaining clear communication in line with established processes.
- Preparing Patient Notes: Assisting in the preparation of health information and notes for upcoming appointments.
- Reporting Outcomes: Accurately documenting appointment outcomes to aid follow-up clinical activities.
- Supporting Audits: Participating in audit activities, including checking patient outcome data and maintaining medical supplies.
- Contributing to Improvement: Actively engaging in efforts to enhance patient care within our organisation.
What We''re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in patient appointment booking, ideally within healthcare.
- A background in healthcare settings is essential.
- Experience in booking Endoscopy appointments is a plus!
- A valid Standard DBS certificate, in date and ready for immediate verification.
