SLH Consult are partnering our client a national subcontractor who are looking to appoint a freelance Patcher / Finisher to join a busy residential new build housing site in the West Midlands. Working closely with the site management team, you will play a critical role in clearing internal snagging lists to ensure all plots are completed to a flawless, premium standard prior to buyer handovers.nal eye for detail, take immense pride in your finish, and are ready for an immediate start, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Patching and Making Good: Execute high-standard internal patch plastering, boarding, skimming, and drywall repairs across active new build plots. Surface Preparation: Fill holes, cracks, and minor cosmetic imperfections on walls and ceilings, sanding them smooth ready for final decoration. Snagging Remedials: Systematically work through site management snag lists, making good around newly installed fixtures, fittings, electrical sockets, and pipework. Quality Control: Ensure all finished surfaces meet strict NHBC or developer hand-over standards. Health and Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace while collaborating efficiently with other trades on-site. Requirements and Qualifications Experience: Proven track record working as a Patcher, Plasterer, or Multi-Trade Finisher within a fast-paced new build housing environment.
