I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs Demi Chef de Partie, I will support the Head Pastry Chef and assume responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:Check production schedule to determine the variety and quantity of goods to bake.Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter.Roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, and related products. Cut, peel, and prepare fruit for fillings.Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets and bake in oven. Observe products while cooking and adjust controls.Mix icings and other toppings and decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.Use a variety of kitchen tools, including electric mixers, pans, rolling pins, and cutting tools.Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served.Know and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules and guidelines.Be flexible and work in other kitchen sections as needed.Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.Whats in it for you?At Six Senses, we believe in taking care of our hosts just as much as our guests. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.All candidates must hold the right to work in the UK to be considered.
