Pastry Chef (Full-Time)Salary: From £32,000 to £34,000 per yearHours: 45 hours per week (5 days out of 7)Shifts: Early mornings, typically starting at 5:00am or 6:00amAvailability: Monday to Sunday, including weekendsWe are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for producing high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods while maintaining excellent food safety and presentation standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare cakes, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods to a high standardAssist with Afternoon Tea preparationDevelop new dessert and pastry offeringsDecorate and present products attractively and consistentlyMonitor ingredient stock levels and place orders within budgetMaintain quality control of ingredients, equipment, and finished productsSupport, train, and motivate junior team membersEnsure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulationsRequirementsMinimum 3 years'' experience as a Pastry ChefStrong pastry, baking, and dessert preparation skillsExcellent attention to detail and creativityGood organisational and leadership abilitiesKnowledge of dietary and ingredient-restricted baking (e.g. gluten-free, sugar-free)Relevant qualification in Pastry, Baking, Culinary Arts, or similarLevel 3 or Level 2 Food Safety CertificateFlexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and varying shiftsIf you are passionate about pastry and committed to delivering exceptional quality, we ..... full job details .....
